How To Create Paypal and Verify (Filipino Bloggers)

All Filipino's working online as a Freelancer and doing business online are using Paypal ast their first choice of payment gateway. Personally, I used paypal to receive my earnings and payment from my homesbased job Upwork (one of the leading freelancer platform to work online and earn money). As Paypal is easy to use and user-friendly and anyone can create their account in no time. Proven to be safe and it keeps getting better.

Also, Paypal can be used as an option for online payment while shopping online and even creating transactions with your clients respectively. It is advisable to use Paypal because of their security rather than using your personal credit card that may leak to your personal information.

Funding Paypal is easy, as you have a lot of options to choose from, such as credit cards, debit cards and bank accounts as well. No need for you to always input your card or bank account's informations on which account has available funds to check or test. The Paypal itself will do it all for you.

As of writing, there are about 218 million active Paypal users around the globe, and still counting. Lots of businesses are adding Paypal as an option for payment on their transactions.

Ever wonder how you can create Paypal account? I'll teach you how.

Step 1: Overview

Creating your Paypal account is just easy as 1-2-3. All you need to do is to go their website at Paypal.com and hit the Sign Up button. Like what everyone do, enter your email address as well as your strong password combinations so you would not any trouble hacking your account.

Enter all informations necessary such as your name, address, phone numbers, etc. Entering you bank account and card information is needed for you to be able to transfer fund on your Paypal account. An activation email or confirmation email will be sent to your chosen email address and start creating your first transaction.

Step 2: Paypal Account Registration

There are two ways for you to register on paypal, by website or by paypal app available on both android and ios. You can go directly to their website to easily sign up here. There are two options available to where you will be using your account for.

All you need to do is to fill out the informations needed on the forms, proceed or next and so on. One more important thing, is to check all the informations you input, make sure that it is correct and is legitimate informations.

Valid ID's is needed like SSS, Driver's License, Passport or any government ID's available for you to pass the registration process.

Step 3: Credit Card / Debit Card Linking

You'll be redirect to a page where says start linking your credit or debit card. Entering such details will allow you to use Paypal as soon as possible. In some cases that you don't have available card ready, you can skip this option by clicking "I'll do it later" link.

I personally use BDO debit card, GCASH card, or RCBC myDebit card to link on my paypal. I will suggest to get Gcash Mastercard as this is the fastest way for you to get your first debit card and linking this card to Paypal is instant, if you don't have any bank account credit or debit cards available at the moment. Gcash card as I remember will cost you P150 only, with free P50 load already.

Step 4: Account Activation & Email Verification

After the account registration process, Paypal will send you an email for you to verify and activate your account.

You are now ready to do transations. Right away, you can start shopping as there are a lots of e-commerce website that offers Paypal as their payment gateway. Addition to this, you can start sending money to your friends and loved ones throught their verified paypal email too.

You too can receive Paypal payments from anybody with Paypal account, all you need to do is to tell them your Paypal email address. Paypal is secured, trust me, I've been using this for almost 10 years and so far, everything was so smooth and no problems encountered.
